A special order

This custom order went out this morning to a wonderful customer in Bountiful, Ut. I got a note from them saying that the gift bags are a traditional part of their Christmas celebrations. I hope that they have a wonderful Christmas.
I enjoyed making these little gift bags. I will certainly be making more. I need lots of different styles for my store. Good news is I have lots of fabric I can use.

Here is to a Happy Holiday for everyone!

Ruffled Bag

New ruffled bag I am working on. I love this pattern. This is 100% cotton yarn from Peaches & Cream. I absolutely love working with yarn. Some people have said that they don't like working with cotton yarn because it is too slick. I do agree that it slick but I love the way it feels. It glides over my bamboo hooks wonderfully.
This is the second bag I have made with this yarn. This bag is actually much larger. I have to incorporate a handle for it.
Another new to me stitch here is the bouillon stitch. It is a little difficult but it is totally worth it. I even made the handle out of an improvised bouillon stitch.
Can't wait until I am done.
I will post pictures when it is complete.

And I am using my new tea pot / yarn pot from my husband.

Back to my hookin!

Do you know this feeling?

Wow, this makes me crazy!
